The History of Christ Apostolic Church (Dove House) District Headquarters, Welling.
Christ Apostolic Church, Woolwich, was formally established in 1998 in Brookhill Centre, Woolwich, London by the then District Superintendent, Pastor E O Medaiyese, and led by the amiable Minister-in-charge, Pastor Casey Badejo.
CAC Woolwich (now Dove House) remains one of the six branches established by Pastor E O Medaiyese, under Christ Apostolic Church Surrey Docks District (HQ) based at 163 Ilderton Road, South Bermondsey, London SE16 3LA.
The six branches of the old Surrey Docks District were strategically located in Woolwich (now Welling), Hackney (now Leyton), Gravesend (now Swanscombe), Hastings, and Brussels.
Under the leadership of the Minister-in-Charge, Pastor Casey Badejo, in 2007, CAC Woolwich acquired its permanent site (then known as Dolphin House) at William Foster Lane, Welling DA16 3AT. The name was changed to Dove House under his inspiration and adopted as the reference for the church (and future branches) as Dove is a recognised symbol of the Holy Spirit.
Dove House now has two other branches, established under the direction of the Holy Spirit by the District Superintendent, Pastor Casey Badejo. The two branches are, Dove House Orpington (2019), under the leadership of Pastor Ben Olasuyi, and Dove House Woolwich (2023), pastored by Pastor Gabriel Ogunbayeje.
Today, Dove House is a well-known and respected church in the Welling, Bexley, Orpington, Kent, and Woolwich, London communities and beyond. We invite you to join our growing congregation, which is the church of Jesus Christ.
Pastor Casey Badejo (District Supretendent)
