Grace to you and peace, beloved of God. What are you hearing? Sound of war or peace, sorrow or joy, fake or good news, this fading pandemic or God’s unfailing protection?
Hear this:
“Therefore thus says the LORD concerning the king of Assyria: ‘He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shield, nor build a siege mound against it. By the way that he came, by the same shall he return; and he shall not come into this city,’ says the LORD. ‘For I will defend this city, to save it for My own sake and for My servant David’s sake.” (2 Kings 19:32-34 NKJV).
“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.” (Matthew 5:14 NKJV)
You are not in hiding from this scourge because light can’t hide from darkness. For His own sake not for yours, God has promised to fight this battle His own way and defend your location, therefore this darkness will crawl back shamefully to where it came from and you will keep shining in Jesus’ name.
Shalom Aleichem.
